~ Massimo Folino was born in Italy to parents Rodolfo and Lidia Folino. Massimo has worked around food his entire life. He started out helping at his parents Restaurant Valentino’s in Kutztown. While there he learned the value of hard work, and making food from scratch. At the age of 17, Massimo knew that he wanted to own his own restaurant someday. In 1997 Massimo and his Family opened the Coliseum Restaurant in Blandon on 222. In 2007 the Coliseum was closed so the Folino Family could pursue other business opportunities. The dream of owning a restaurant was not finished for Massimo. On August 4th, 2009 Massimo’s Ristorante & Pizzeria was opened in Blandon. Massimo to this day works in the Restaurant to preserve the traditions his ancestors started years ago.
~ Massimo’s Ristorante offers an extensive menu of Italian Food. The food is made fresh everyday by hand. The menu includes over 150 items from Pizza to Pasta. The Italian tradition started by Massimo’s Parents and Grandparents continues everyday!
